Following on the success of Kikkoman’s Soy Sauce commercial which featured a catchy vintage jingle, I was commissioned to bring panko to life in this lovable, fun commercial.

Our Panko spot showcases all kinds of easy ways to add crunch and craveability to any meal. The agency gave the vintage jingle a Panko makeover and added a new element—a dancing, jumping, joy-filled animated Panko-package character who flips, flies and moonwalks from scene to scene between our delicious footage.

Shot at our beautiful 3,750sf studio in Los Angeles, we used our kitchen set styled with different backsplashes and countertops to show a variety of recipes being prepared with panko in what looked like a variety of kitchens.

This spot shows the versatility of panko and how it can add that special ingredient to the dinner table!
